From January to June we will dive deeper into Dynamic Yoga and meditation to explore their inherent unity. We will approach meditation somatically as a physical practice and explore dynamic movement as an invitation to uncover the meditative mind within your everyday activity.
The class begins at 8.00 with seated meditation. Birgitte will be give you guidance in the first half of the course so you can gradually establish a seated meditation practice on your own over the spring. During the course, new elements will be introduced for you to include in your seated morning practice.
From 8.30 we move from seated to dynamic meditation. Birgitte will guide a simple and accessible flow of yoga postures, which invites awareness to ground in the body as it mobilizes and strengthens the body softly. Each class ends in relaxation.
Anybody interested in yoga and meditation can join the course until march 31st. From April to June the course is only open to students who have attended dynamic Yoga classes or workshops before. The course will be taught in English only if required.
