Releasing tension in the core of the body is one of the ways in which yoga posture practice can bring about a deep nourishment. These two evening classes will explore the possibilities of releasing the core of your body through spinal rotations and twists: The practice invites the body to breathe freely, the internal organs to be nourished and the mind to take a well deserved rest.  The Monday class will explore the possibility of release through action in a dynamic flow of standing and seated rotations and twists. The second class explores release through letting go into soft, nourishing flow of supine, seated and inverted postures where each pose is held for a longer period of time.  Together the two classes help you to access the deep spinal muscles and help your body to let go of whatever unneccsary tension it may be carrying.
